Microneedling with radiofrequency energy rejuvenates the skin on a deeper level than traditional microneedling. By trigging collagen and elastin production, RF microneedling treats a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkling, scarring, stretch marks, and more.

Radiofrequency microneedling provides a plethora of benefits with fewer risks than other skin treatments.

For those who put time and energy into sculpting their bodies through rigorous diet and exercise, stubborn pockets of fat can cause significant frustration. In challenging areas such as the abdomen, under arms, thighs, and flanks, fat sometimes refuses to leave no matter the amount exercise. At Luminesse, truScultp® iD eliminates fat from these areas to sculpt your ideal body. Unlike other body sculpting treatments, truSculpt® iD only takes 15 minutes, with little to no discomfort.

What is truSculpt® iD Body Sculpting?

TruSculpt® iD utilizes RF energy to remove fat cells without harming the skin. TruSculpt® iD treats the problem areas that diet and exercise cannot by targeting the subcutaneous fat (fat just under the skin) to sculpt the body into your ideal shape.

How Does truSculpt® iD Work?

Skin and fat heat at different wavelengths, making it possible to target the fat without harming the surrounding tissue. TruSculpt® iD only targets the fat. The RF energy destroys the fat cells while the body’s natural filtering system continues to remove them up to three months after, diminishing visible fat and bulges. The treatment is non-invasive and safe, with no injections or needles required.

We spend 10 to 15 minutes out of our daily routines shaving, plucking, and removing unwanted hairs from our bodies. We are also constantly spending money on wax treatments, shaving cream, razors, and other hair removal products. Even with the most effective treatments, the results only last from a couple of hours to a few months. Laser hair removal with the Gentlemax Pro™ targets and removes hairs on any skin tone with lasting results.

What is Laser Hair Removal?

Unlike most other laser treatments, the Gentlemax Pro™ works on all skin types using two wavelengths: Alexandrite and Nd: YAG. The two lasers target the pigment in the hair follicles, leaving the skin unaffected. Laser hair removal stops hair growth at the root by targeting the follicles for longer-lasting results.

How does the Gentlemax Pro™ Laser Hair Removal Work?

Hair grows in four stages: anagen (growing), catagen (transition), telogen (resting), and exogen (shedding). Laser hair removal targets hairs in the anagen phase. Your body, however, has hair at every stage at any given point. As a result, multiple treatments are required for maximum results.

The Gentlemax Pro™ has adjustable power settings for specific requirements. The laser light energy targets the pigment in the hair follicles, causing them to heat, stopping hair growth, and deactivating the follicle.

A HydraFacial® can help clear up your skin using a three-step process that cleanses and exfoliates, extracts and hydrates. But what are the benefits of a HydraFacial®?

How Does HydraFacial® Treatment Work?

At Luminesse Laser & Skin Clinic, we offer HydraFacial® treatments, which is a three-step process that removes dead skin cells. The first step of a HydraFacial® includes a Vortex-Fusion wand that uses suction to deep clean any oil and dirt. This is followed by a cleansing and gentle exfoliation and peel. Lastly, a serum is applied to the skin for maximum hydration.

A HydraFacial® treatment can use a variety of serums to further enhance your results. During your consultation, serums most suitable for your needs will be discussed with one of our aestheticians.

The top layers of our skin contain dead skin cells and fine facial hair that can make the skin on the face appear less smooth. Dermaplaning removes these dead skin cells and hair for a smoother facial appearance. Many are curious and ask about how much dermaplaning costs?

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a skin resurfacing technique that eliminates dead skin cells on the top layer of the skin. This procedure smoothes out the face by removing not only dead skin cells but also acne scars and peach fuzz.

How Does Dermaplaning Work?

Our experienced aesthetician Valérie uses a sterile blade at a 45-degree angle to carefully remove dead skin cells and fine hairs the top layer of the skin. Dermaplaning is similar to shaving but with a more refined technique. With the top layer gone, the face will appear more polished. Valérie will apply both a soothing serum, followed by sunscreen to the treated skin for extra sun protection. The consistent application of sunscreen  will help prevent signs of aging due to sun damage.

How Much Does Dermaplaning Cost?

Generally speaking, dermaplaning costs on average between $75 to $250.

Cost is dependent on a few factors including clinic location, experience, and what is included in a dermaplaning treatment. The number of sessions purchased may also affect the cost of dermaplaning. During your consultation at Luminesse Laser & Skin Clinic, all of these factors will be discussed and more when seeking out the cost for this procedure.
