Botox® and Dysport® injections are administered directly into the facial muscles. These injections feel like a minor pinch if anything. The number of injections you receive depends on your treatment goals and how many areas will be treated.

You will have no downtime after your botulinum treatment, although you should not lie down or engage in strenuous activity for several hours afterward. You may resume your daily activities immediately.

You may notice some sensitivity, redness, or swelling at the site of the injections. Many people have no side effects.

You can expect to see wrinkles and lines start to relax within 24 to 48 hours of treatment. As the muscles remain paralyzed, the skin will continue to relax and appear smoother. Your face will look more youthful and refreshed. Full results take approximately 30 days.
